Abstract
In order to think about the body and the Unconscious, the author makes a brief tour through Philosophy and Medicine. It is in the topic called The Freudian fold that he will stop to fully develop the psychoanalytic concepts that articulate body and Unconscious. He will then develop, among other themes: the erogenous body, the theory of instincts, the constitution of the subject, the three registers, the desire, the a object, the Unconscious fantasy, etc. When dealing with the Unconscious fantasy formula, support of the desire, the author tells us that the subject “is stung by the lack of the object, he is perforated, hurt, stimulated, instigated, rueful, etc. by the object cause of the desire”. He finishes the article considering that, in the relation Unconscious fantasy-symptom there is always a committal of the body.
