Abstract
A legislação canônica sobre o Sacramento da Ordem é uma exigência para o ordenando e para a Igreja, na pessoa do bispo próprio ou do superior maior, para que a vocação seja acolhida e direcionada para o bem da Igreja e da própria pessoa. São muitos os itens relacionados, por isso, o artigo oferece uma visão de síntese de todo o tratado, mantendo os cânones e acrescentando títulos e comentários.
