This research was carried out through the content analysis method, with semi structured interviews conducted with entrepreneurs who were trained in an entrepreneurial education course: Bom Negocio Parana. The study shows the relationship between professional training and the entrepreneurs' absorptive capacity, as well as their phases of acquisition, assimilation, transformation and exploitation of the knowledge obtained. Entrepreneurial training is encouraged by the entrepreneurs, who see it as a positive action, since they can apply the knowledge acquired in their companies.
