Abstract
O presente artigo pretende revisitar as bases “fenomenológicas” da trajetória de Jean-Paul Sartre desde sua recepção das filosofias de Edmund Husserl e Martin Heidegger até o momento de composição da principal síntese filosófica de seu existencialismo, intitulada O Ser e o Nada (1943). Neste sentido, o artigo situa o estatuto das fenomenologias de Husserl e Heidegger para o pensamento sartriano, bem como a originalidade de O Ser e o Nada, para a qual concorre, ainda, uma leitura bastante particular da negatividade hegeliana.
