Abstract

How the narrative focus occurs in literature and in cinema, and if it's possible to use the same theoretical support to examine it in both written and imagetic texts, are pertinent questions that are open to discussion. This paper approaches some possible relations between the narrative information point of view (The Look) and the information coming form the narrator (the Telling), and the consequent regulation of these informations, both in cinema and in literature. Using as an object of study the tale "Pequeña historia policial" by Carlos Liscano and the movie "Amores perros" by Alejandro Iñárritu, we intend to discuss what look the voice that narrates coats its self when enunciating, covertly or not, in written form or through images, the informations in the narrative web.

NO CONTO PEQUEÑA HISTORIA POLICIAL E NO FILME AMORES

RESUMO Este artigo aborda algumas relações possíveis entre o ponto de vista da informação narrativa (o olhar) e a informação proveniente do narrador (o contar), e a consequente regulação dessas informações, tanto no cinema como na literatura. Tendo como objeto de estudo o conto Pequeña historia policial de Carlos Liscano e o filme Amores perros de Alejandro Iñárritu, pretendemos discutir com que olhar a voz que narra se reveste ao enunciar, dissimuladamente ou não, em forma escrita ou por imagens, as informações na teia narrativa. Pretendemos, portanto, discutir como incide o foco narrativo na literatura e no cinema, e se é possível o uso do mesmo suporte teórico para analisá-lo em ambos os textos, escrito e imagético.
