Abstract

This article presents partial results of the research that we have developed together with the nuclear project “A producao de sentidos a partir da relacao lingua, sujeito e historia na circulacao do conhecimento linguistico” (The production of meanings from the language, subject and history relationship in the circulation of the linguistic knowledge). It, written in four hands, seeks to understand the importance of exteriority in the constitution of the subject and the language, taking as a starting point for our reflection the work “O Dialeto Caipira” (The Caipira Dialect) by Amadeu Amaral (1920) and “O Dialeto Caipira da Regiao de Piracicaba” (The Caipira Dialect from Piracicaba Region), of Ada Rodrigues (1974). Our proposal is inscribed in the perspective of the Historia das Ideias Linguisticas (History of Linguistic Ideas), in its articulation with Discourse Analysis, as it has been developed in Brazil.
