Abstract
Neste artigo, apresentaremos a narrativa de Ecce Homo como suspensão da morte através da palavra, mediante o resgate do sentido das narrativas para os gregos da antiguidade. Aplicaremos ao livro de Nietzsche a leitura de Foucault em “A linguagem ao infinito”, mostrando que nele, Nietzsche escreve um ensaio para, em todos os tempos, ser escutado com os olhos, atingindo por meio dos escritos a imortalidade enquanto ligada ao nome do autor e desligada do eu.
