Abstract

The article is devoted to the study of the features of socio-psychological adaptation and shyness in adolescence. It was experimentally revealed that the majority of schoolchildren in adolescence are characterized by a high level of shyness. At the same time, it was found that a significant number of high school students are dominated by medium and high levels of socio-psychological adaptation. The strong indirect correlation between the levels of shyness and adaptation in adolescence has been revealed. It was experimentally confirmed that high school students with a high level of shyness are characterized by a low level of adaptation.
