Abstract

Objective To investigate the key point of observation and nursing of the postoperative patients with cervical cancer who received intra-arteriai neoadjuvant chemotherapy.Method From January 2006 to January 2008,60 cases with primary cervical carciuoma in stagelb2-Ⅱb received intra-arterial Chemoembolization.Allthe patients who received arterial intervention chemotherapy were careful nursing.And the side effects of arterial intervention chemotherapy were also observed.Result No serious complications occurred after arterial intervention chemotherapy.The operations of all 60 patients who received radical hysterectomy after 1~2 courses of intra-arterial neoadjuvant chemotherapy were success.The intraoperative bleeding was reduced apparently,and the average bleedingvolume was 220ml.Conclusion The intra-arterial neoadjuvant chemotherapy is an effective and safe method which could increase achievement ratio of radical hysterectomy of cervical.Moreover,thepostoperative observation and nursing of intra-arterial chemotherapy is the key point of prevention against postoperative complication.
