Abstract
Objective To explore the nursing measures of proportional assist ventilation (PAV) in order to improve the quality of the treatment in the neonatal respiratory failure (NRF).Methods The clinical nursing data of 56 NFR patients with PAV were retrospectively analyzed and summarized. Results All patients had been cured, and the average time of mechanical ventilation was (74.1 ± 11.2) h,and the average time of oxygen inhalation was (5.3 ± 2.1)d,and the average time of hospital stay was (12.6 ± 3.5)d,and the incidence rate of ventilator associated pneumonia (VAP) was 12.5%,and other complications including air leak and blood pressure drop and so on were not found. Conclusions The standardized nursing measures of PAV can reduce the incidence rate of VAP,and shorten the time of mechanical ventilation, and increase the quality of the treatment in the NRF.
