Methodology: Extension activity, through educational programs for communities, highlighting the importance of vaccination for both humans and animals, promoting environmental hygiene and providing information on healthy eating. In addition, blood samples were collected in the communities studied to evaluate zoonoses in order to induce treatment and prevention and for research, investigating the relationships between environmental exposure and human diseases, as well as the transmission of pathogens between humans and animals. Results: The results of the One Health Nursing approach are evident in the decreased spread of zoonotic diseases, improved health indicators in participating communities, and increased awareness of sustainable health practices. Research contributes to the knowledge base, informing public health policy and clinical practice.
