Abstract

Objective To analyze the effect of corresponding nursing care and facial paralysis rehabilitation adjuvant treatment for peripheral facial paralysis. Methods 96 patients with peripheral facial neuritis treated at our hospital from February, 2014 to April, 2017 were selected as study objects and were divided into a study group and a control group by random number table, 48 cases for each group. Both groups were actively given symptomatic treatment and nursing care; in addition, the study group took facial paralysis rehabilitation therapy. Both groups were treated 3 weeks. The clinical effects of the two groups were compared and analyzed. The improvement of facial nerve function before and after treatment was evaluated by Portmann scale. Results The total effective rate was 97.9% in the study group and was 83.3% in the control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05). After 3 weeks’ treatment, the score of facial nerve function was (18.11±2.23) in the study group and was (13.57±2.40) in the control group, with a statistical difference (P<0.05). Conclusion Applying facial paralysis rehabilitation and nursing care in the clinical treatment of peripheral facial paralysis can effectively improve the clinical effect, promote the patients’ recovery of facial nerve function, so it is of great clinical significance.
