Abstract

In view of the effects of multi-control surfaces position on aeroelastic behavior of forward-swept wing, a loosely coupled aeroelastic numerical method based on computational fluid dynamics/computational structural dynamics (CFD/CSD) was presented. The influence of the spanwise position of multi-control surfaces on the aerodynamic and elastic deformation characteristics of the forward swept wing under subsonic condition was calculated and analyzed. The spanned position of the multi-control surfaces had great influence on the aerodynamic characteristics and elastic deformation characteristics of the forward swept wing. The influence of different control surfaces on the static aeroelastic characteristics of the forward-swept wing was related to the angle of attack. The result obtained from the calculation and analysis can be used for the design and optimization of the forward swept wing aircraft.
