Abstract

In this paper, gas drilling is used for dry hot rock drilling. According to the first law of thermodynamics and the basic principles of heat transfer, a mathematical model for the temperature field of dry hot rock gas drilling wellbore is established. The model is solved by the full implicit finite difference method. Then, relevant sensitivity analysis was carried out. The model can be used for the temperature distribution of drill string, annulus and formation under actual dry hot rock well circulation conditions.
