Abstract
The paper is concerned with numerical simulation and properties of wave processes in infinite inhomogeneous media with impedance boundaries. A numerical method for solving a boundary-value problem and optimal control problem for a parabolic Schrodinger-type wave equation with a complex nonself-adjoint operator is proposed and analyzed.
