Abstract
In this work the results of developing physical and mathematical models, allowing consideration the effect of multiphase fuel (hydrocarbon liquid+solid combustible material) on the conditions of ignition and modes of propagation of combustion in poly-dispersed non-uniform mixtures were presented. The effect of tightness due to the presence of other droplets on the evaporation rate of each droplet was taking into account. The results of computational modeling of flame propagation during ignition of poly-dispersed mixture of liquid hydrocarbon fuel droplets with solid fine carbon particles were presented. The influence of the initial density of a dispersed mixture on the flame propagation was studied.
