Abstract
防波堤の被覆ブロックの被災メカニズムを解明し，被災防止のための解決策を検討することは海岸構造物の維持管理コスト削減のためには重要である．本稿では，造波水路を用いた水理実験およびMPS法とDEMの融合による数値シミュレーションの双方から，マウンド法先部に設置した被覆ブロック群の崩壊過程を検討し，被覆ブロック群崩壊のメカニズムの一端を明らかにすることを目的とする．具体的には，水理実験から観察される被覆ブロック群が崩壊に至る一連のプロセスから崩壊の因子を抽出し，その因子をパラメータとした数値シミュレーションを実施して，予測された因子の妥当性を裏付けた．
