Abstract

The flue gas flow field at the inlet of the bag filter of a coal-fired once-through boiler of a 1,000 MW ultra-supercritical variable pressure operation is uneven. The high temperature of the local flue gas will trigger the start of the water spray desuperheater system, which will easily lead to water vapour condensation and block the bag. The flow field of the flue at the inlet of the dust collector was tested, and on this basis, a numerical simulation was carried out, and finally, a baffle installation plan was designed. The flow field test results after the implementation of the baffle modification show that the uniformity of the inlet flue gas temperature and flue gas velocity distribution of the bag filter has been significantly improved.
