Abstract

In this paper, the method of finite element analysis is used to study and Simufact.forming software is used to simulate the cold forming process and heat treatment process of ISO-CC8X riveting nut. The changes of equivalent stress of the riveting nut after cold forming process and heat treatment process are obtained. Then, residual stress detection and metallographic experiments were carried out to verify the reliability of the numerical simulation. This method is of guiding significance to the design and optimization of heat treatment process of metal parts in practical production.
