Abstract
A new three dimensional mathematical model for the radiation heat transfer in a combustion chamber is proposed. The model overcomes shortcoming of the zone method and Monte Carlo modelling method, but retains their merits. Comparison of calculation with measurements of the heat transfer in the combustion chamber of a boiler showed a calculation error in the exit gas temperature of 31 K and a calculation error in the heat flux of less than 10%.
