Abstract
The formation of steady-state structures near the end face of a body placed in a supersonic flow with an asymmetrically located energy source is simulated and studied. The parameters of the steady-state flow structures undergo several oscillations with roughly equal amplitudes and periods. Depending on the location of the source relative to the body, structures with various numbers of elements (from one to four) are observed in the simulation.
