Abstract

A mathematical model is formulated for calculating the stress-strain state (SSS) of piezo-electric layered polymer composite materials (PCM) equipped with a control piezoactuator. The model implements the principle of thermo-piezoelectric analogy, which allows to move from the coupled boundary value problem ofelectroelasticityto the boundary value problem of thermoelasticity. A comparison of the deformation fields for model layered samples from PCM with a different arrangement of piezoactuatorswas carried out. Verification of the developed mathematical models was carried out. The main patterns and mechanisms are revealedfor controlling the geometry of a layered PCM using embedded piezo-actuators.
