Abstract
A finite element model of a long-span S-shape curved continuous rigid-frame bridge with high piers is established. Structural dynamic response under different seismic excitation angles and multi-support excitation is calculated and analyzed. The results indicate that seismic excitation angle and multi-support excitation have significant effects on the structural response. When the apparent wave velocity is greater than 2000 m/s, the effect of multi-support excitation is not apparent. This paper has important reference value for design works and theoretical research on long-span S-shape curved continuous rigid-frame bridges.
