Abstract

In this paper, an analysis of the influence of the number of phase turns on the other parameters of high speed Switched Reluctance Motor (SRM) is presented. The paper starts with state of the art from the point of view of electrical machines high-speed utilization and a description of the Switched Reluctance Motor. The initial design of the high speed motor is described. In the main part of the paper, the influence of the number of turns is analyzed. This analysis is performed for different rotational angular speed. Finally, the results of torque ripple, average torque and losses are presented for different high speed.
