Abstract

Three species of Lachesilla from Peru and Mexico are described and illustrated. They are based on male specimens, characterized by having a clunial apophysis over the area of the epiproct. The Mexican species constitutes a new species group, and the 2 Peruvian species belong in the pedicularia group. Types are deposited in the National Insect Collection (CNIN), housed in the Instituto de Biologia, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico.
