Abstract

A species of Lachesilla in species group Texcocana, is here described and illustrated, it is endemic to the Sierra Juarez, Oaxaca. Although it is macropterous, it shows brachypterous characters in both sexes, such as wing length, missing or interrupted veins, and few trichobothria in the sensory fields of the paraprocts. The types are deposited in the National Insect Collection (CNIN), Instituto de Biologia, Universidad Nacional Autonoma de Mexico, CdMx, Mexico.
