Abstract

Opening fire in the constitutional-constituent debate by exposing the "bases" of a new Constitution for Chile and the new political-constitutional ideas, presents as a challenge to propose the strong ideas of a center-left constitutional discourse forged for a long time, from the remote criticism formulated in 1980 by the Constitutional Studies Group to the 1980 Constitution and the great fraud that gave birth to it, and that at the same time as a constitutional discourse it must be contemporary and ideologically open to modern ideas, connecting all of this with our reality historical-political. In this sense there are no models or transitions or institutional arrangements to copy.
