Abstract
Abstract NU-DIE V is an air-hardening, hot-work tool and die steel with high resistance to heat checking and erosive action. It has good hot hardness and wear resistance. NU-DIE V is used for die casting and extrusion dies for aluminum and magnesium and for plastic-molding equipment. This datasheet provides information on composition, physical properties, hardness, and elasticity as well as fracture toughness.
