Nucleon and meson effective masses in the relativistic mean-fieldtheory

Nucleon and meson effective masses in the nonlinear relativisticmean-field theory introducing a nonlinear ω-ρand σ coupling motivated by the quark-meson coupling modelis explored. It is shown that, in contrast to the usual Walecka model, notonly the effective nucleon mass meff,N but also the effective σ,ρ meson masses (meff,σ,meff,ρ) and the effective ω meson massmeff,ω are nucleon density dependent.
