Abstract
The frequency dependence of various relaxation parameters for a two-spin system composed of nuclei with oppositely signed magnetic moments and relaxed by intramolecular dipolar interactions is described. It is demonstrated that significant discrepancies exist between theories that explicitly consider or implicitly ignore relative signs of the nuclear magnetic dipole moment.
