Abstract
The authors report novel material PbSe/graphene nanocomposite synthesis via facile ultrasonic assisted method. The structural and physicochemical properties of PbSe/graphene composite are further characterized by X-ray diffraction (XRD), scanning electron microscopy (SEM) with an energy-dispersive X-ray (EDX) analysis, transmission electron microscopy (TEM), and Raman spectroscopy analysis. The photocatalytic activities were investigated by the degradation of methylene blue and rhodamine B as a standard dye. This study suggests that the as-prepared PbSe/graphene nanocomposite can be utilized as an efficient photocatalyst material.
