Abstract
It is well-known that a reduction in thicknesses of soft magnetic materials is one of effective methods to reduce an eddy current loss, and soft magnetic thin ribbons are widely used for high-frequency driven electric machines. Typical soft magnetic thin ribbons are produced by rapid quenching methods, and their thicknesses are approximately 20 $\mu \text{m}$ . In present study, we proposed a novel fabrication method of soft magnetic thin ribbons $( using an electroplating method, and evaluated the ac magnetic properties of the thin ribbons.
