Abstract

AbstractThis paper presents a novel electronically tunable mixed-mode biquad filter. The proposed filter employs only three multi-output current controlled current conveyor trans-conductance amplifiers (MO-CCCCTAs) and two grounded capacitors. With the current as an input, the proposed filter can realize low pass (LP), band pass (BP), high pass (HP), band reject (BR) and all pass (AP) in current-mode and LP, BP and BR responses in trans-impedance-mode. When the voltage acts as an input, the proposed filter can realize LP, BP, HP, BR and AP responses in trans-admittance-mode and LP, BP and BR in voltage-mode. Moreover, the filter also offers the feature of quality factor control of independent of pole frequency through only single bias current. PSPICE simulation results are included for verification of the proposed circuit.KeywordsCCCCTAmixed-modetunable filterbiquad
