Novel Approach to Risk Assessment of Aircraft Electrical Wiring Interconnet System

Abstract

The electrical wiring interconnect system is a hot and important topic in the aircraft industry, especially in its risk assessment. In this paper, a novel quantitative approach to risk assessment of the aircraft electrical wiring interconnect system is developed. An estimated risk criterion of the aircraft electrical wiring interconnect system based on referred data is founded, and a detailed flowchart of the risk assessment of the electrical wiring interconnect system is depicted, which could give the aircraft designer an alternative approach to verify the design level of the electrical wiring interconnect system.
