Abstract
Aimed at the talent-cultivation in the 21st century and the existing problems in university's science and engineering teaching, this article is intended to present one particular advanced teaching philosophy -- the life- focused teaching method, which encourages to blend life focused teaching into University's Science and Engineering education. Also, the tactics and methods about how to imbed the life- focused teaching into science instruction are discussed in detail in the article. And the concept of people-oriented is stressed in the life- focused teaching, which aims to train and produce creative students with a spirit of innovation and comprehensive qualities.
