Abstract
An act of affranchisement and two apolyseis, recently brought to light and published here for the first time, lead to a number of modifications to Delphic chronology. In particular they add to the list of the secretaries of the city and make it possible to correct the date of the archonship of Τιμαγένης Νικάνδρου, until now assigned to the priesthood XXVII, but which in reality belongs to the priesthood XXIX. Above ail, these texts cast new light on the relations of Emperor Claudius with the city of Delphi: one apolysis in fact mentions him as a witness, from which one has to conclude that the emperor must have stayed in Greece, something not attested by any other document; another apolysis mentions him as the eponymous archon of the city, probably under the priesthood XXIX.
