Abstract In a recent paper Sekanina claims to have proved the close connection between dynamical and physical anomalies in the behavior of Halley's Comet. The dynamical anomalies were based on a two-orbit fit to the 1910 apparition by Zadunaisky. It is here shown that the two orbits are unnecessary and that Zadunaisky's 33 normal places are adequately represented by one orbit thus eliminating the dynamical anomalies and invalidating Sekanina's conclusion.
