Mark your calendars!! The dates of ICBIC16 in Grenoble, France (http://www. icbic16.com/) have been moved back a week to July 22–26, 2013, which we learned from the ICBIC16 organizers after the January issue of JBIC went to press. The deadline for ICBIC16 registration and abstract submission is April 27, 2013. The deadline for late registration without abstract submission is July 1, 2013. Nominations for Student Travel Grants to ICBIC16 will be received up until April 15, 2013 (http://www.sbichem. org/awards.php). Please submit application materials to me by email attachment (single pdf document, the filename of which begins with the applicant’s last name). The travel grants will be announced by April 30, 2013. In addition, the 2013 Molybdenum & Tungsten Enzymes Conference, organized by Jose Moura, Isabel Moura and Maria Romao (http://eventos.fct.unl.pt/molybdoenzymes2013/) will be held in Sintra, Portugal, July 16–19 prior to ICBIC16 in Grenoble—please note the new dates for this conference as a result of the change of the ICBIC16 dates. Before ICBIC16, other bioinorganic chemistry conferences include the 12th International Symposium on Metal Ions in Biology and Medicine in Uruguay, March 11–13, 2013; The International BioIron Society meeting in London, UK, April 14–18, 2013; Chemistry of Metals in Biological Systems in Louvain-la-Neuve, Belgium, May 12–19, 2013; The 4th Georgian Bay International Conference on Bioinorganic Chemistry-CanBic4 on May 21–25, 2103; The 7th International Conference on Fe–S Cluster Biogenesis and Regulation in Columbia, SC, May 20–24, 2013; and The 4th International Symposium on Metallomics in Oviedo, Spain, July 8–11, 2013. The Cell Biology of Metals Gordon Research Conference (Salve Regina University, Newport, RI) will be held July 28–August 2, 2013, immediately following ICBIC16.
