Abstract
O presente artigo reconstitui parcialmente o desenvolvimento da pesquisa sobre religiões afro-brasileiras nos programas de estudos pós-graduados em Ciência(s) da Religião das regiões Sudeste e Centro-Oeste do Brasil. Aponta de maneira sistemática as estratégias metodológicas, as fontes documentais pesquisadas e os referenciais teóricos que orientaram os pesquisadores que trabalharam essa temática.
