Abstract
AbstractWhile not perfect, Clinical Ethics Handbook for Nurses: Emphasizing Context, Communication and Collaboration, edited by Pamela Grace and Aimee Milliken (Springer, 2022), provides an excellent clinical ethics overview for any nurse, nursing student or faculty member, or anyone in clinical practice. The editors have successfully assembled a book that will help point‐of‐care nurses develop their skills in ethical decision‐making and assist nurse educators and nurse leaders in mentoring nurses who may be challenged to exercise moral agency on behalf of good patient care. Throughout the chapters, cases and exercises are introduced, providing practical strategies to improve nurses' confidence in ethical decision‐making both as individuals and in collaboration with others. The book is well grounded in the uniqueness of nursing, making it a must read for anyone who teaches clinical ethics or practices clinical ethics with nurses.
