Abstract

This article memorializes Norman Henry Anderson (1925-2022), best known for his information integration theory (IIT). Norman Anderson's work was influential in its time, and his legacy endures. He was the recipient of the 1972 American Association for the Advancement of Science Prize for Behavioral Science Research, and, as a tribute to his work, scholars in the field established a conference that continues to this day: the International Information Integration Theory/Functional Measurement Conference.
