Abstract
The experimental FMR spectra of single crystalline maganese ferrite films and their temperature dependences are compared with theory. An explanation is proposed for the appearance of nonuniform modes on both sides of the uniform resonance and the coupling of their resonance field with the nonuniformity of the stresses. The maximum stresses are evaluated and the character of their distribution over the thickness is determined from the FMR data.
