Abstract

In this work we study a model of field theory with a Lagrangian (Lee’s model). By means of a very simple method employing canonical commutation rules, we obtain the equation for the V-particle propagator in the first sector without making use of the perturbative expansion. The equation thus obtained is regularized not by cut-offs, but by an analytic regularization method. The solution shows an additional pole as a result of nonlinear equations for the mass of the V-particle.
