Abstract

The effect of coal additives on the properties of the Mo/HZSM-5 catalyst is described. The effect on the physicochemical, texture, adsorption and catalytic properties of the catalyst is investigated. The investigation is carried out using the methods of IR spectroscopy, X-ray phase analysis, and low-temperature nitrogen adsorption. Water vapor adsorption is carried out using a laboratory bench. The methane conversion is studied using a flow-through laboratory apparatus. It is found out that the addition of coal significantly increases the adsorption capacity and the rate of adsorption of zeolites in water vapor and also stabilizes the operation of the catalyst over time.
