Abstract
We study nonlinear surface impedance of YBCO epitaxial films at 5.9 GHz and in magnetic field up to 0.7T. We demonstrate that while the linear surface impedance in our films is dominated by weak links, the nonlinearity arises from hysteretic rf vortex penetration. The nonlinearity is almost unaffected by a dc magnetic field.
