Abstract

Stationary nonlinear one-dimensional electrostatic oscillations in a plasma containing a cold beam of dust grains along with warm beams of electrons and ions are considered. It is found that the thermal effects do not affect the qualitative nature of the solutions already given by the authors, for a cold model, in a previous work [M. Tribeche et al., Phys. Plasmas 9, 419 (2002)]. Nevertheless, it is found that only negative potential structures associated with the nonlinear localized waves can exist in such a dusty plasma model.
