Abstract

The measurements of temperature (10 K < T < 300 K) and dc electric field dependencies of nonlinear dielectric susceptibility were performed in K1-x Lix TaO3 with × = 0.01, 0.025 and 0.035 at 0 < E < 12 kV/cm and frequency ω = 100 kHz. Analysis of obtained data has shown the existence of mixed phase with coexistence of short and long range order in KLT with × = 0.025. The absence of divergence of nonlinear susceptibility in KLT with × = 0.01 at low temperature suggest that dipole glass is metastable state rather than equilibrium phase like in conventional spin glasses
