Abstract

We investigate the nonexistence of nontrivial solutions to a semilinear Euler–Poisson–Darboux–Tricomi equation with combined nonlinearity and provide the lifespan estimate based on the iteration argument. As a result, our work extends the results of the generalized Tricomi equation with combined nonlinearity, as explored in Chen et al. [Nonexistence of global solutions for generalized Tricomi equations with combined nonlinearity. Nonlinear Anal Real World Appl. 2021;61; Paper No. 103354, 21] and Hamouda and Hamza [Blow-up and lifespan estimate for the generalized Tricomi equation with mixed nonlinearities. Adv Pure Appl Math. 2021;12;54–70], to equations that include damping and mass.
