Abstract

Introduction: Various studies have shown that patients with a Coronary Artery Calcium (CAC) score of zero have low risk of cardiovascular events or all-cause mortality in the medium and long term. Our aim was to identify a subgroup of patients presenting with stable chest pain in Rapid Access Chest Pain Clinic (RACPC) where CAC score alone can be useful in screening prognostically significant coronary artery disease.
