Abstract

In the last decade or so, the demand for fluid flow in pipelines either in the form of liquid or gas has increased dramatically. So the need for better and more accurate accountability and measurements of flow in pipelines has become a mandate. The paper talks about the application of artificial intelligence and robotic technology using remote sensors to collect process and give desired flow computation results for pipelines fluid flow. It highlights the principle, operations, and industrial applications of robotic technology to perform deduce and relay required information to the end user as applied to pipeline flow, testing and operations.
